Privacy Policy

Who we are

Path to Purpose Development Foundation operates www.path2purposefoundation.org. The Foundation serves youth and young adults ages 11–24 in Lancaster, California, and throughout the greater Antelope Valley.

For website privacy questions, contact info@path2purposefoundation.org.

Information we collect

The public contact form currently asks for first name, last name, email address, subject, and message. The Foundation uses this information to respond to inquiries, route requests, communicate about programs or services, and protect the website.

Please do not submit passwords, payment-card numbers, Social Security numbers, medical records, school records, emergency information, or other sensitive information through the general contact form.

Youth and participant information

The general contact form is not a youth enrollment or participant-intake system. It should not be used to submit sensitive information about a young person. Before the Foundation collects participant information online, it will identify the program purpose, collect only what is needed, establish appropriate parent or guardian consent where required, limit access, and document retention and deletion procedures.

If the Foundation knowingly collects personal information online from a child under 13, it will establish an age-appropriate notice and parental-consent process before doing so. See the Youth Privacy & Data Procedures page for the current website-facing process.

Form storage and communications

Contact-form submissions may be stored in the WordPress/Fluent Forms system and may be sent to the Foundation’s official mailbox for response. The Foundation uses DreamHost email services for its official website mailbox. The Foundation will limit access to authorized people who need the information for Foundation operations.

The Foundation is finalizing its form-entry retention schedule and will update this policy when that schedule is approved. Records may be retained longer when needed for legal, safety, accounting, security, or dispute-resolution purposes.

Cookies and technical information

The website may use essential cookies or similar technologies needed for WordPress administration, security, caching, accessibility preferences, and form operation. The website may also create technical server logs, such as browser, device, IP address, date/time, and request information, as maintained by WordPress or the hosting provider.

No Google Analytics, advertising pixel, marketing tag, or other named advertising service was identified in the inspected homepage source when this policy draft was prepared. If the Foundation adds analytics, advertising, a donation processor, CAPTCHA, newsletter tool, social-media embed, video embed, or other third-party service, this policy will be reviewed and updated.

See the Cookie Policy for more information.

Sharing and service providers

The Foundation may share information with service providers that help operate the website, host WordPress, deliver official email, prevent abuse, maintain security, or provide a program or donation service that the visitor intentionally uses. The Foundation does not currently identify a public donation processor or marketing CRM on this website.

The Foundation does not use the general contact form to sell or share youth participant information for advertising. Any future service will be reviewed before activation.

Donations

The public Donate buttons currently do not connect to a payment processor. If online donations are enabled, the Foundation will identify the donation processor, explain the data it collects, provide the processor’s privacy notice, and update this policy before accepting donations.

Security

The Foundation uses HTTPS and WordPress security and access controls appropriate to the website. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. The Foundation will review access, updates, backups, and incident-response procedures as part of website administration.

Your privacy requests

To ask a question about information submitted through the website or request privacy assistance, contact info@path2purposefoundation.org. The Foundation may need enough information to verify and locate a request. Requests are handled according to the Foundation’s actual legal obligations, records, safety needs, and retention schedule.

Changes to this policy

The Foundation may update this policy when its website, programs, vendors, or legal requirements change. The updated page will include a new last-updated date.

Review note: This draft is intended for Foundation review and qualified legal review before publication as the final Privacy Policy. It must be updated if the Foundation’s actual collection, retention, youth-program, donation, analytics, or vendor practices differ.
