Purpose
Last updated: October 17, 2026.
Path to Purpose Development Foundation serves youth and young adults ages 11–24 in Lancaster, California, and throughout the greater Antelope Valley. This page explains the Foundation’s current website privacy process for youth, parents, guardians, and program partners.
What the public website collects
The public contact form currently asks for first name, last name, email address, subject, and message. It is a general inquiry form. It is not an enrollment form and should not be used to submit a young person’s health information, school records, government identification, emergency details, passwords, payment information, or other sensitive information.
What to do before sharing youth information
- Contact the Foundation first at info@path2purposefoundation.org and ask which approved intake process applies.
- Use only the form or process that the Foundation specifically identifies for the program.
- Do not send sensitive participant information through the general contact form unless the Foundation provides a secure, approved instruction.
- Parents and guardians should ask how consent, access, retention, and deletion will work before providing a child’s information.
Foundation data procedures
Before collecting participant information online, the Foundation should document the program purpose, the minimum information needed, who may access it, how consent is obtained, where it is stored, how long it is retained, how it is deleted, and what happens if information is sent to the wrong person or exposed.
The Foundation should use a separate, purpose-built intake process for youth or participant information. Staff should not copy participant records into personal email, personal devices, public documents, or the general website contact form. Access should be limited to authorized people who need the information for the program.
Children under 13
The Foundation will not use the general contact form as an online children’s enrollment process. If a program requires the Foundation to knowingly collect personal information online from a child under 13, the Foundation must establish an age-appropriate notice and parental-consent process before doing so and should obtain legal guidance.
Ages 13–17
Serving teens does not by itself mean that every website interaction requires the same process. The Foundation will evaluate the actual information requested, the program purpose, the person providing the information, and applicable law before creating a teen intake or communication process. It will minimize collection and avoid collecting sensitive information through the general contact form.
Photos, videos, and stories
The Foundation should obtain the appropriate written release before using a young person’s name, image, voice, work, story, or other identifying information in public communications. A public website visitor should not assume that submitting information grants permission to publish it.
Requests and concerns
A parent, guardian, young person, or authorized representative may contact info@path2purposefoundation.org with a question about information submitted to the website. The Foundation will route the request to the appropriate responsible person and determine what can be accessed, corrected, or deleted under the Foundation’s actual obligations and records.
Important limitation
This page describes a website-facing process and does not replace a program-specific consent form, internal child-safety policy, records policy, incident-response plan, or legal advice. The Foundation must review and approve its final youth-data procedures before collecting participant information online.
